PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a structural member, capable of increasing the joining strength of the structural members. SOLUTION: A flat metallic material 22 for joining a sill 12 and a pipe column 15 together and a corner metallic material 24 and a rectangularly folded metallic material 26 for joining the sill 12 and a corner column 16 together are fixed by nails 28 driven into the sill 12, the pipe column 15, and the non-end surfaces 12b, 15b, 16b of the corner column 16. Accordingly, the nails 28 for fixing the materials 22, 24, 26 are not driven into an end surface 12a in order to make it possible to avoid the situation where joining metallic materials (the materials 22, 24 and 26) are fixed by the nails easy to remove after they are driven into the end surface 12a. Consequently, it is possible to improve the joining strength of the sill 12 and the pipe column 15 or the sill 12 and the corner post 16.
