PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile and a burying method of the pile exhibiting a firm support function with excellent tip support force and peripheral surface frictional force. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral surface of a steel pipe 2 having through holes in the center axis direction is provided with first annular collar parts 3, 3, etc. made of steel, within a horizontal plane orthogonal to the center axis direction of the steel pipe 2. The first collar part 3 has L-shaped cross section wherein one side forms an outward projecting blade part, while the other side forms a steel pipe fitting side. The base end and tip in the through hole are provided with second collar parts having blade parts projecting in the center axis direction of the steel pipe. The base end part, center part and tip part on the outer periphery of the steel pipe are respectively provided with four spacers 6, 6, etc., twelve in total, projecting outward from the first collar parts 3, 3, etc., being shifted by 90 deg. from one another to the center axis of the steel pipe.
