PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source system capable of preventing a loss of an equipment in the case of short-circuiting between output terminals of a power transformer. SOLUTION: The power source system generates power source voltages Vcc1, Vcc2 to the equipment 14 and a power source voltage Vcc3 to a microcomputer 15 for controlling the equipment 14, by using a transformer for transforming a primary side voltage to a primary side voltage via a coil having a predetermined turn ratio. The system comprises a comparator 12 having two or more multi-winding coils at a secondary side of the transformer (T1) 3 and detecting a short circuit between pins (2) and (3) between multi-windings, a transistor (TR1) 5 for stepping down the voltages Vcc1, Vcc2 to the equipment 14 when the short circuit between the multi-windings is detected by the comparator 12 and a relay 2 for the power source.
