PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily get a terminal bracket engaged with the play end of an operating lever by enabling its penetration into a strut without requiring a work to position it at a rotational position around a cable axis line. SOLUTION: If a lever 12 is rotated clockwise around a pin 17, a brake shoe engaged with a groove 15a is moved leftward and a brake shoe engaged with the groove 11b of the strut 11 is moved rightward through the pin 17 and the strut 11. The outside rims 11g, 11h of the confronting side walls 11d, 11e of the strut are inversely inclined so that they intersects each other as shown by α when viewed from the axial direction of the pin 17. When attempting to make the terminal bracket 20a penetrate between the confronting side walls 11d, 11e of the strut to lock the trunnion 20b of the cable terminal bracket 20a in the hollow 16c of an operation side lever 16 composing the fever 12, even if the terminal bracket 20a is at a rotational position around a cable axis interfering in the confronting side walls 11d, 11e of the strut, the terminal bracket 20a receives torque from the inclined outside rims 11g, 11h of the confronting side walls 11d, 11e of the strut only by pressedly moving the terminal bracket 20a in an opposite direction to a cable towing direction, and is positioned at a rotational position enabling its penetration between the confronting side walls 11d, 11e of the strut. Thereby, workability in connecting the operating cable can be enhanced. |
