PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine generator, capable of easily performing disassembly and an assembly and maintenance operation. SOLUTION: This engine generator comprises an engine 2, a generator 3 having a power generating body 16 formed of an outer rotor 11 and a stator 12, and a cooling fan 5 disposed between the engine 2 and the generator 3. The power-generating body 16 is stored in a fan cover 16 for storing the cooling fan 5 therein. The stator 12 is installed in the fan cover 19. The power- generating body 16 is stored in a single fan cover 19, to reduce the number of parts and to increase a waterproof performance. In addition, the stator 12 can be separated, by merely removing the fan cover 19 so that the stator 12 can be replaced with a new one, without having to remove the other parts in order to increase maintainability and reduce man-hours.
