<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner particles, having superior developing property and less residual polymerizable monomers. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing toner particles by forming liquid drops, having the toner particle size and containing polymerizable monomers and wax in a water-based suspension liquid and then polymerizing the polymerizable monomers to manufacture toner particles, the toner particles are maintained in the water-based suspension liquid or in the presence of supersaturated water vapor, until the proportion of the solvent and polymerizable monomers in the toner particles decreases to 1% or lower, and then the particles are collected from the water-based suspension liquid by filtration, so as to reduce the solvent and/or polymerizable monomers.</p> |
