PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flow of a unreasonable current by an after process added to a battery box on the market or an existing battery box in an equipment, even when a battery is inserted in reverse. SOLUTION: With the battery box 11 provided with at least a contact point 12 at side of a positive electrode contacting with a protruding terminal end 33 of a positive electrode terminal 32 of a battery 31 to be mounted, and a contact point 13 at side of a negative electrode pressure contacting with a flat terminal face 35 of a negative electrode terminal 34 of the battery 31, an isolation piece 21, for a reversely put battery made of an insulating material furnished with a notched part 25, thicker than the height of the electrode side contact point 12, is interposed between the battery box with a positive electrode side contact point 12 and the battery 13, allowing contact to the positive electrode side contacting point 12 through introduction of the positive electrode terminal 32 of the battery 31.
