PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wasteful use of a battery and to increase the rising speed of water temperature in an initial stage in a heat doing heating by circulating heating medium through a heating means heat-exchanging with combustion heat. SOLUTION: A heating medium 2 is heated by a catalyst combustion heating unit 9 generating heat by the combustion between fuel gas and air, the heating medium 2 is circulated inside a heating medium path 19 formed in a heat radiating means 17, the power to a controller 7 is switched between a thermoelectric converter part 12 and a battery part 13 according to the generated voltage of the thermoelectric converter part 12 and within predetermined time after the start of the operation of the unit, the controller 7 is driven by the power source of the battery part 13. |
