PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast unit or the like that can properly inform each viewer about a processing result with respect to a reply by viewers. SOLUTION: The broadcast unit 1 broadcasts data to receivers, and is provided with a 1st transmission section 124 that broadcasts common message data to all of the receivers as objects, a reply data reception section 131 that receives reply data by each receiver on the basis of the common message data from at least one of the receivers, a processing section 132 that applies prescribed processing in response to the received reply data by each receiver and generates processing result data by each receiver, and a 2nd transmission section 127 that broadcasts individual data by each receiver including an identifier by which the receiver corresponding to each of the received processing result data by each receiver recognizes the data addressed to itself.
