A fastener for binding relatively thin objects together has a straight clip body (112) having a central hinge joint (122) and two elbow joints (128) about which the body (112) can be flexed to bring interlocking ends together. Each elbow joint (128) includes opposing pairs of lugs (168) which provide stability. A block (120) on one side of each elbow joint (128) enters a groove (138) between the opposing lugs (168) to lock the joint (128) against sideward swaying. Typically, heating hose 176 is bound to reinforcing wire 178 in a reinforced concrete slab providing radiant heating.
