The coat rack comprises a vertical pole (6) which stands in the corner of a room and stretches from floor to ceiling. A horizontal bar (14) hangs on a wire (16) from a hook (21) at the top of the pole and coat hangers fit over this. Rubber pads (15) at each end of the bar support it against the walls on either side.
