<p>An elevator cab includes a hoistway access way concealed by an access door. The access way provides access to elevator operating components and controls that are located within the elevator hoistway without requiring a technician or mechanic to leave the cab and enter the hoistway. In one disclosed example, an elevator controller is located adjacent a main line disconnect switch to be simultaneously accessible through the access way.</p> |
