<p>A box body type noise suppressing unit (20), comprising a ventilating part (23) and a noise suppressing part (24) adjacent to the ventilating part, wherein the ventilating part (23) is formed of a ventilating passage (23c) opening in longitudinal direction, the noise suppressing part (24) is formed of a plurality of noise suppressing passages (24a, 24b) of different passage lengths (La2, Lb2) divided through a partition plate (25) and closed in longitudinal direction, and these plurality of noise suppressing passages comprises partition plates for passage extension (26a, 26b) on at least one (24b) thereof and are so formed as to communicate with a ventilating passage (23c) through opening parts (22a to 22d) in a divided partition plate (22), whereby the unit is allowed to be applied to such portions that a front area and a depth in ventilating direction cannot be taken largely, i.e., a front grill and a bumper of a car.</p> |
