The ship has a drive propeller (4), which is surrounded by a cladding (8). The ship has a compressed air compressor (9) to supply compressed air to the intermediate space (11) between the propeller and the cladding. The cladding is formed as a double-walled cylindrical ellipsoid or nozzle-shaped sleeve extending axially to the propeller shaft (3) along the propeller. Nozzles may be fitted between the walls of the sleeve to conduct compressed air.
