<p>The inventive ink-jet printing method is carried out by transferring ink drops from a plate to a carrier sending a laser ray to an inked plate angle-wise to a surface thereof. Said laser ray produces a light-hydraulic action on an ink-surface interface accompanied by causing a high power acoustic impulse directed along a trajectory of a ray reflected from the plate and transferring to the carrier an ink drop taken from an ink layer of the plate. The inventive method makes it possible to ensure high resolution printing characteristics by means of points having diameters ranging from 10 to 15 mkm, formed on the plate and even inflexible carrier, whereby only a small amount of energy is required to form drops. The inventive printing device for carrying out said printing method comprises a printing plate having a surface reflecting the laser ray, embodied in the form of an endless ribbon or a cylinder. The totality of points composing a text or an image on the carrier and corresponding to a program is obtained by means of a joint movement of the carrier, plate and scanning laser ray.</p> |
