<p>An ink for display panels is prepared by mixing, when applied, a powdery material concerning a display panel, 1-10 wt% of a water-soluble resin component, and a solvent having a free miscibility with water. Therefore the ink is a water-soluble one and is hardly subjected to an electrostatic action compared with conventional ones. As a result, even if the ink is ejected, for example, through a narrow nozzle holes, the ink streams do not bent due to mutual repellency and travel strait, thereby effecting a good coating step. Such an ink for display panels can be applied to an ink for forming a functional layer, such as a phosphor ink, ink for Ag-electrodes, ink for light-shielding films (black matrix), ink for sealing-glass, or ink for white-reflecting layers.</p> |
