Apparatus for the induction heating, as it passes, of metal strip products with the aid of electrical coils (14, 14') provided on magnetic armatures (10, 12) arranged on either side of the large faces of the strip to be heated which moves continuously between the said coils, characterised in that the inductors (10, 12) are mechanically independent of one another and are arranged symmetrically with respect to the midplane (P) of the strip such that the magnetic fields generated are in phase opposition resulting in a ring-like distribution of currents induced in the strip to be heated up (16).
