Game ball ink containing aluminum trihydroxide

Disclosed herein is a game ball, such as a golf ball (8), having an indicia (14) formed from a UV curable ink containing aluminum trihydroxide (ATH) filler. The ATH improves pad transfer of the ink. An ink composition suitable for pad printing, and a method for applying an indicia to a game ball are also disclosed. The UV curable ink has excellent pad transfer properties, and good durability.
