The patent refers to a product that consists of stirrups and ties for concrete structural members. The patent refers also to a method for reinforcing structural members and refers also to structural members with high antiseismic strength. These stirrups and ties are used in all the structural members like columnss, beams, slabs footings, piles, chainages, lintels etc. The closed, from the factory, and with no hooks shape characterizes the cellular stirrups and ties of the patent and gives them uniform behavior and high tensile strength at all its length making the use of materials with high tensile strength feasible which materials can be loaded with shear forces in columns, beams and other concrete structural members and also can achieve strong tightening on structural members so increasing their compressive strength and impoving their antiseismic behavior. The closed cellular shape, with no discontinuation, may be simple, i.e. rectangular, circular, T-shaped, 1-shaped etc., or complex i.e. square with inscribed rectangulars, circular with inscribed squares etc. |
