PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder in which recording can be carried out with stabilized quality by preventing deposition of ink generated through suction operation or preliminary ejection of a recording head. SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder performing recording on a recording sheet by ejecting ink thereto from a recording head 31 is provided with an ink removing means for preventing deposition of waste ink ejected for a purpose other than recording. |
