PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil disinfecting method capable of performing disinfection work efficiently while suppressing the killing of useful bacteria. SOLUTION: Soil is disinfected by alternately performing a heating process for supplying disinfecting steam to soil to heat the same and a cooling process for supplying cooling water to soil to cool the same.
