PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle type connector whose function is not blocked even when it receives toner during the replacing of a toner cartridge. SOLUTION: The receptacle type connector 1 fixed along a side plate of an image forming apparatus body has a main insertion recessed section 23 opened upward. In the main insertion recessed section 23, a contact holding wall of a corresponding plug type connector is inserted or removed. Even when the toner enters the main insertion recessed section 23 in the opening condition, it is possible to discharge the toner through a through-hole 39 positioned on the lower section of the main insertion recessed section 23 by lightly hitting the receptacle type connector 1.
