<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approach for finding out an active compound for crop protection and animal health, particularly a biologically active polypeptide or the like. SOLUTION: The inorganic pyrophosphatase particularly derived from Lepidoptera and the nucleic acid encoding it are provided for finding out a new insecticide for insect pests, e.g. Heliothis virescens or the like.</p> |
