PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a tire inner shape is provided to simply and precisely check the deformation of a tire in real time when the tire is applied with an air pressure by measuring an inner shape of the tire even without breaking a section of the tire and overlapping an outer shape measured by a profile meter with the measured inner shape. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a tire inner shape includes a round rubber roller(1) for contacting an inner surface of a tire, a dial gauge(2) mounted with the rubber roller for measuring a displacement of the inner surface of the tire, a rotation plate(5) mounted with the dial gauge and a circular gear(11) for rotation, an electric motor(3) mounted on a rim(6) with a gear(10) to be engaged with the circular gear of the rotation plate for rotating the rotation plate with a certain angle, a packing part(4) for blocking off a hole formed for extracting a wire(9) connected to the motor to the outside, and a computer(8) for processing data transmitted via the wire and outer shape data measured by a profile meter.
