PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material high in stiffness strength and excellent in impact resistance by forming a sandwich structure from resin layers and to provide a gas barrier laminate excellent in transparency, not lowered in gas barrier properties even after sterilization, excellent in stiffness strength and impact resistance and having heat resistance by using a vapor deposition film having sterilization resistance. SOLUTION: The gas barrier laminate excellent in stiffness strength and impact resistance and having heat resistance, which consists of three or more resin layers wherein a gas barrier film having heat resistance used in at least one of surface material layers, has a sandwich structure wherein three or more adjacent layers consist of a single-layered or laminated intermediate layer and two surface material layers holding the intermediate layer and the elastic modulus of the resins same or different in kind used in the surface material layers holding the intermediate layer is larger than that of the resin used in the intermediate layer.
