PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of a hysteresis systems and the like, and to simplify a structure by forming a return spring of an accelerator pedal from a slidable leaf spring. SOLUTION: An accelerator lever 9 is provided on a bracket 1 through a rotating shaft 7. A plate-shaped return spring 14 is attached to the accelerator lever 9 at one end side, and an accelerator pedal 12 is energized in a returning direction by slide-contacting a resinous sliding element 16 provided at the other end side of the spring 14 with the bracket 1. When a driver operates the accelerator pedal 12, hysteresis is applied on operating force of the accelerator pedal 12 by friction resistance generated when the resinous sliding element 16 slides with the bracket 1. Therefore, the number of components of a hysteresis generating part H1 and the like is reduced to simplify a structure.
