The invention relates to a piezoelectric multilayer actuator, comprising a number of piezoelectric ceramic layers (8) which are layered on top of each other in the form of a piezo element stack (10); and inner electrodes (3) which are arranged between said ceramic layers and which are guided out of the stack on alternate sides, in surface contact areas (9), respectively, and which are electrically connected in parallel by an outer electrode (4) provided on the side of the stack. According to the invention, an electroconductive powder layer (2) is provided between the surface contact areas (9) of the inner electrodes (3) and the outer electrode (4). Said electroconductive powder layer (2) guarantees an electrical contact between the inner electrodes (3) and the outer electrode (4) that is considerably resistant to the formation of cracks in the piezo element stack (10). |
