OPTICAL RECORDABLE MEDIUM

PURPOSE: An optical recordable medium is provided, which can obtain a satisfactory modulated amplitude(MA) with a short wavelength under 500 nm in case of a recordable layer using an organic pigment. CONSTITUTION: The optical recordable medium comprises a substrate(70) where a pregroove to guide a light during a writing or a reading is formed, and a reflective film(71) formed on the substrate in sequence, and an organic pigment layer(72), and a metallic thin film(73) and a protection layer(74). It can be constructed with a disk structure made by adhering two disks using an adhesive layer, or by adhering one side with a dummy disk. A writing light or a reading light is incident through the protection layer to write or read a signal.
