PURPOSE: A device and method for the sound mixing service are provided to receive the desired sound without any sound mixing device according to an individual or a company by executing the sound mixing for the user. CONSTITUTION: When the user accesses a web server(100) through an information communication network by operating a user terminal(400), the web server checks a user ID. When the user selects a menu for previous listening to a sound source, the web server receives a produced sound file for the previous listening from a sound source-providing computer(200) and transfers to the user terminal. When the user listens to the sound source on lists, and selects a menu for desired sound source and how to mix the sound, the related information is transferred from the user terminal to the web server. A sound mixing processor mixes the sound source files according to the menu of how to mix. The produced sound file is sent from the sound-mixing computer(300) to the web server through a local communication network, and sent from the web server to the user terminal through the information communication network. The web server checks if the user satisfies the mixed sound or not. If the user does not satisfied, the procedure returns to the step that the user selects the menu of previous listening. Otherwise, the mixed sound file is sent from the web server to the user terminal through the information communication network.
