<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of securely operating an energy absorption mechanism. SOLUTION: The seat belt device includes an approximately tube-shaped bobbin 34 for rolling webbing, and a torsion shaft 35 and a plurality of torsion pipes 36a, 36b coaxially arranged on an inner side of the bobbin so as to be adjacent each other in a diameter direction and sharing a shaft center of the bobbin. The torsion shaft and the plurality of torsion pipes are rotatably supported by a retractor base 33, and one end of each of the torsion shaft 35 and the plurality of torsion pipes is engaged and fixed to the bobbin. An other end of the torsion shaft is connected with a locking mechanism for operating in accordance with acceleration or deceleration of a vehicle or a drawing speed of the webbing. Each other end of the torsion pipes is respectively engaged with a plurality of locking plates 38a, 38b arranged on an outer side of the bobbin in an axial direction. The outer circumference of each of the locking plates is positioned in wedge paths 40a, 40b. Catching members 39a, 39b for catching the locking plates depending on a webbing drawing load are ejected by actuators 31, 32 in each of the wedge paths.</p> |
