PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an adherence of a deteriorated material to become a material of an eye mucus to be adhered to a die lip of a die for molding a thin film. SOLUTION: A plastic die 1 is formed with a slit by opening a gap at a pair of die bodies 1a, 1b. A molten plastic 3 is filled in the slit. Die lips formed of a die take-off side lip 4 and an opposite take-off side lip 5 are provided at distal ends of the bodies 1a, 1b. A photocatalyst is fixed to a part of the end of the lip 5 not contacted with at least the molten plastic. An exciting light source 11 is arranged at a distal end face of the lip 5 between the lip 5 and a casting drum 2 so as to irradiate the photocatalyst 10.
