PURPOSE: A virtual character breeding system based on the internet is provided to grant the netizens an opportunity that they can acquire a special knowledge of a desired field and form a right study and a sense of values, by allocating virtual characters and offering various simulations and programs. CONSTITUTION: A user accesses a web homepage(S1) and selects a desired simulation(S2). In case that the user is a member(S3), he selects a desired character directly(S5). At this moment, a spot advertisement comes up(S6). The user selects a growth condition for the character(S7). Spot advertisements are displayed according to the growth process of the character(S8). In case that the growth of the character is completed, the web site judges that the growth of the character is successful(S10). In case that it is successful, the web site provides an incentive to the user(S10). If the growth of the character is not successful, the web site analyzes an error in the upbringing process of the character so that the user can have an opportunity for the acquisition of knowledge(S11).
