<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the proper lighting by controlling the distribution of luminous intensity without the feeling of incompatibility when a vehicle gets on and out a road having a curvature. SOLUTION: This lighting system for a vehicle comprises a lighting means 1 capable of controlling the distribution of luminous intensity, a self-position detecting means 9 for detecting a traveling position of the vehicle, a forward road shape detecting means 11 for detecting the shape of the road, a car speed detecting means 13 for detecting a car speed, a forward road curvature detecting means 7 for detecting the road curvature in front of the vehicle on the basis of the information on vehicle position and the information on road shape, a steering time estimating means 5 for estimating a steering starting time or a steering finishing time of the vehicle on the basis of the information on road curvature and the information on car speed, and a drive control means 3 for controlling the distribution of luminous intensity of the lighting means 1 on the basis of the information on road curvature and the information on car speed, and determining at least one of a starting time or a finishing time of the control of the luminous intensity of the lighting means 1 on the basis of the estimated steering starting time or the steering finishing time.</p> |
