DEFLECTOR FOR SUPPLYING GOB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflector for supplying gobs which is capable of correctly dropping the gobs to the center of a blank mold by perpendicularly correcting the postures of the gobs without using funnels. SOLUTION: A deflector guide 6 is mounted at a front end 4 of a main body 1 of a deflector and a straight gob dropping passage 12 of a sectionally circular shape or approximately elliptic shape is formed between this guide and an inside surface 5 of a recessed shape of the main body 1. A diameter- expanding part 13 of an inverted circular cone shape is preferably formed at the top end of the deflector guide 6 and the radius of curvature of the horizontal section of the deflector guide 6 is preferably formed to the radius of curvature of the main body 1 of the deflector or above. The gobs are corrected to the perpendicular posture while passing the gob dropping passage 12 and are supplied to the center of the blank mold B.
