PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume reduction apparatus for foamed styrene which has an oil drum as an easily movable large-capacity or large-size container. SOLUTION: The volume reduction apparatus of claim 3 has a container for containing foamed styrene blocks and a volume reduction liquid for reducing the volume of the blocks, a lid for covering the opening of the container, and a truck which carries the container and has a rotor installed at the lower side.
