PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a using amount of a quick drying ink in a range for not bringing about a transfer of the ink while shortening a drying time of the ink. SOLUTION: After a previous image is printed on a recording surface of a recording sheet to be printed with the image, a printing time I(n+1) of a following image of a time up to contact with another recording sheet in which the following image is printed with the previous recording sheet is inferred (S2). The drying time K(n) required to dry the quick drying ink for printing a pixel on the recording sheet is inferred at each pixel for constituting the previous image (S2). Then, whether a quick drying ink combined treatment for replacing at least a part of a dry retardant ink used to print the pixel with the quick dryness ink is conducted or not is decided in response to the inferred time I(n+1) and time K(n) (S4). In the case of conducting the quick drying ink combined treatment, a replacing ratio is decided (S5). |
