PURPOSE: A structure for preventing rupture of a compact disc is provided to prevent rupture of a compact disc by blocking progress of a crack and consecutively form through holes in a radial direction between a lead-in area and a clamper hole. CONSTITUTION: A clamper hole(5) is formed on a center of a compact disc(10). Through holes(1) are formed between the clamper hole(5) and a lead-in area(A) which has a larger radius than the clamper hole(5). The through holes(1) are consecutively formed in a radial direction between the clamper hole(5) and the lead-in area(A). The through holes(1) individually have a smaller diameter than an interval from an adjacent through hole. When a crack is generated from a damaged portion or a defect is generated on a side of an inner surface of the clamper hole(5), the through hole(1) blocks progress and expansion of the crack, so as to prevent damage on data and prevent critical failure of a drive due to rupture of the compact disc.
