<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus capable of reflecting information stored in an information storage device in a game, and keeping the popularity over a long period of time, and an image composition method. SOLUTION: The information storage device 120 stores play count information, play total time information, and game setting information, and holds the information even after the power-off. A game operating part 100 performs game operation according to the operation information from an operating part 12, the game setting information stored in the information storage device 120 and a designated program, and an image composition part 200 composes a game image according to the game arithmetic result. A read-out part 102 reads out information from the information storage device 120 when the power-on is detected by a power supply detecting part 110. An information updating part 104 updates the play count information and the play total time information every time the game is played, and updates the game setting information when the play count, or the like, exceeds a designated number, or the like.
