PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling work machine preventing a working device from abruptly starting when switching a main switch from an OFF state to an ON state even if a working device switch is forgotten to be turned off. SOLUTION: This traveling work machine comprises working devices 11, 26 driven by a prime mover 20, clutch means 45, 29 interposed in a power transmission path from the prime mover 20 to the working devices 11, 26, a main switch 60 for starting the prime mover 20, and a control means 50 including working device switch 61 for actuating the clutch means 45, 29. The control means 50 forcibly turns the working device switch 61 into the OFF state, if the working device switch 61 interposed in an energizing circuit to the clutch means 45, 29 is in the ON state, when the main switch 60 is turned from the OFF state to the ON state.
