摘要 PURPOSE: A nuclear quadruple resonance apparatus and method is provided to achieve improved mobility and portability by reducing the size of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a radio frequency(RF) signal control unit(110) for generating an RF control signal for increasing or decreasing RF signal; an RF signal generating unit(120) for generating RF signals having different levels in accordance with the RF control signal generated from the RF signal control unit; a transmitting/receiving coil unit(130) for converting the RF signal generated from the RF signal generating unit into an RF magnetic signal, applying the converted signal to a detection area, and receiving the detected radio frequency; an RF receiving unit(140) for receiving the radio frequency obtained at the receiving coil of the transmitting/receiving coil unit; a frequency attenuation unit(150) for multiplying the radio frequency generated from the RF signal generating unit and the radio frequency received at the RF receiving unit, and attenuating the received frequency by performing low pass filtering to the resultant value of the multiplication; and a control unit(160) for analyzing and recording the signal obtained at the frequency attenuation unit, and controlling frequency generating operation and overall operation of the apparatus.
