PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop which can improve the appearance of a floor surface around a door, can be set even in an area having a shallow underfloor space, and is simple in structure. SOLUTION: The door stop is constituted of (a) a casing embedded in the floor surface with an opening formed in an upper surface thereof, (b) a plate formed of a magnetic body and housed in the casing in a vertically movable manner, (c) a cushioning body 6 fixed to the upper surface of the plate and capable of outward emerging through the opening of the upper surface of the casing, and (d) a magnet 2 fixed to a lower portion of the door.
