PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for transmitting information, with which information can be highly speedily and exactly transmitted at low cost without involving much human intervention. SOLUTION: Concerning this information transmitter, image data read in an image data storage part 5A are converted to text data by a central arithmetic processor 2 and stored in a text data storage part 5B. Data corresponding to an item required for a transfer destination are extracted from these converted text data and transmitted to the transfer destination by the central arithmetic processor 2. Concerning such an information transmitter, transfer destination information is previously stored on an information transfer destination list 6a provided in a data base part 6, the data corresponding to the item required for the transfer destination are extracted from the data read in the text data storage part 5B on the basis of this transfer destination information, and these extracted data are transmitted to the transfer destination. |
