PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate temporal variation of brightness of an object by calculating difference between image frames. SOLUTION: Pixels are constituted by arranging pixels having a light receiving part to generate an electric signal according to intensity of received light, an amplifier part to amplify a light receiving signal, a plurality of storage parts to store amplified signals as current signals, a load part to convert current outputs of each storage part into voltage, a bias part to provide an input to the load part with offset current and an operation part to calculate an output of the load part like a matrix. The storage parts are mounted on the same circuit as the image pickup device, processing speed is increased and the output is stabilized by bias.
