PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successively detect an accurate toner residual amount regardlessly the variation of the electrostatic capacity of a process cartridge or an image forming device body. SOLUTION: When a new one detecting means 28 detects the process cartridge as a new one, a detected value by a toner residual amount detection means 25 is stored in a storage means 26, and the detected value to be successively detected is corrected based on the stored detected value by a correction means 31 and displayed on a display means 32. |
