PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for exchanging samples which is capable of strongly appealing that the samples of new products associated with the merchandise associated with the new product are distributed even to customers, etc., having concern on such associated merchandise in addition to customers visiting counters, etc., for cosmetics. SOLUTION: This tool has a main body section 2, a hole section 3 formed on the main body section 2 and a pair of right and left cuts 4 formed at the bottom end of the main body section 2. The portion of the main body section 2 enclosed by both cuts 4 is formed as an insertion piece 5 to allow the selection of either of a form that the main body section 2 is erected by utilizing this insertion piece 5 and a form that the main body section 2 is hung down by utilizing the hole part 3. Display is made on the main body section 2 to the effect that the samples of the prescribed cosmetics are distributed in exchange with sample exchange cards 1 within the store.
