PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a large-diametral gravel separator for a tunnel lowing machine in which a trommel and an earth removal pipe can be recovered in a short time even when the center of the trommel and the center of the earth removal pipe are displaced by rolling. SOLUTION: In the large-diametral gravel separator for the tunnel boring machine separating large-diameter gravel contained in soil and sand taken into a chamber for the tunnel boring machine from a face excavated by a cutter, one and sections of length-adjustable hangers 5 are installed rotatably at both left and right positions orthogonal to the direction of the inflow of soil and sand in the large-diametral separator respectively, the other end sections of each hanger 5 are mounted rotatably to a propelling pipe 9 for the tunnel boring machine through fitting 6, and the large-diametral gravel separator is hung down from the propelling pipe 9.
