PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication unit that allows a user to be able to surely receive an information provision service at a required place without any imposed load. SOLUTION: The mobile communication unit is provide with a RAM 24 that registers optional position information with information denoting a connection destination of an information provision service, a GPS antenna 19 and a GPS receiver 20 that position a current position of the mobile communication unit, and a control section 18 that discriminates whether or not the obtained current position is coincident with the registered position information, connects itself to the connection destination of the registered information provision service when the discrimination indicates coincidence and allows a display section 21 to display information obtained from the information provision service.
