PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building having a sufficiently high ceiling and capable of being transported by a truck. SOLUTION: A body unit A manufactured in a shop comprises stays 10 at four corners, girders 12 and beams 14 connecting upper and lower ends of the stays. Upper and lower girders 12a, 12b have a U-shaped section with a groove thereof directed outward, fitting plate 32 folded in a U-shape are welded with intervals, and bolt holes 32a are opened therein. Working holes are opened in an upper side of fitting plate welded portions of the girders, and the girders of the units adjacent to each other are tightened by bolts. The upper girders are tightened with a connection plate 40 therebetween to connect a roof unit via the connection plate. The roof unit comprises upper and lower girders 22 and an auxiliary member immediately below the upper girder, and braces 26 are stretched between the upper and lower girders.
