OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which allows the manufacture of a plurality of card media, like CD cards, together on one sheet and allows the use of the individual card media by cutting off the media and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A recording medium combined sheet 10 connected with the plural card media 13 via perforations 14 is formed by connecting the plural card media 13 of a card shape having optical recording track parts 12 including non-circular segments 11 in such a manner that the card media may be separated by the perforations 14 formed between the respective adjacent card media 13. The respective card media 13 are composed of straight lines at their external forms and are cut off from the portions of the perforations 14 in use thereby making the most of the material.
