PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for a planographic printing plate which can be subjected to writing by short-time scanning exposure with an IR laser or the like, that is, low-energy heat-mode exposure, can also be subjected to a direct photomechanical process from digital data of a computer or the like, can be subjected to a photomechanical process after direct attachment to a printing machine without requiring development and ensures improved film strength of an image area and superior printing resistance. SOLUTION: The original plate has a sensitive layer containing a polymer having a hydrophilic functional group which changes into a hydrophobic group under heat and a photothermal converting agent on a base. The polymer is a three-dimensionally crosslinked polymer and the photothermal converting agent is metal oxide particles containing an organic photothermal converting compound. |
